Booking Terms and Conditions
We accept bookings to arrive on any day of the week, with no minimum stay in low season, but a minimum preferred booking period of seven nights during late July and August. We are, however willing to fill gaps of a lesser number of nights if available, so call for latest info on 01726 812735. The applicable dates for this are specified on the tariff sheet. If you have booked a specific pitch or pitches we will endeavour to ensure that we do not make any changes, however, please be aware that for operational reasons this may sometimes be necessary, but we will always keep parties together.
A maximum of six persons is permitted on a pitch, but with a maximum of four adults (all must be 18yrs + if unaccompanied) on any pitch. It is our policy to only accept bookings from couples and families, we do not accept bookings from single groups of more than three persons of any gender or age. Bookings requiring more than three pitches may be accepted at the discretion of the proprietors, please contact the Park to discuss prior to booking.
A booking is only confirmed once secured with the required deposit and booking fee. Deposit payments and/ or final balances can be made by cheque, credit/debit card over the telephone or online. For holidays commenced in mid or low season, ie, between March 24th - July 15th 2016 and August 30th - October 1st 2016 the balance of your holiday can be paid on arrival at the park. For holidays commenced during the peak holiday season (16th July to 29th August 2016 inclusive) the remaining balance of your stay is payable six weeks (42 days) prior to arrival. The balance of all pitch/pitches booked can be paid by cheque, or credit/debit card. We do not store card details so even if you paid your deposit by credit/debit card you will need to either contact us by phone in order to give fresh card details, or, if you made your booking online you can log back in and pay balances there We can send you an email with a link to go to our website and create an online account. If the final balance is not paid, and we cannot contact you we reserve the right to cancel the booking and make the pitch available for re-booking.
International Banking Payments
For customers wishing to pay by International Bank Transfer an additional £7 fee will be payable per transaction to cover the bank fees that we the Park are charged. However if you call and pay with a credit card, no additional fee is payable, just the usual £4 booking fee. This does not apply to domestic (within the UK) bank transfers.
We politely remind you that once a booking is confirmed you have entered into a contract with us. Should you wish to cancel your booking it will be subject to our cancellation policy: The deposit and booking fee are non refundable, but, if you cancel more than six weeks prior to your arrival date we may at our discretion be able to carry the deposit forward to use against another stay in the current or following season. (Booking fees are not refundable or carried forward, they contribute towards the cost of payment processing, and postage). If you cancel less than six weeks before a peak season stay and you have already paid the full balance we will credit back to you the cost of any nights that we manage to re let your pitch, not including your initial deposit, but, if we can successfully completely relet the pitch we may still carry your deposit forward for use at another time in the current season or the following season. If, having carried a deposit forward following a cancellation a booking is cancelled for a second time the deposit will be retained.
No refunds will be made for early departures.
We strongly advise that you take out holiday insurance against such an eventuality.
Pitches may be occupied from 12 noon, and pitches must be vacated by 11.00 a.m. on day of departure. If you wish to arrive before these times an 'early arrivals' area is provided.
