The
Pleasures of Exploring
|
The Park is situated in the heart of the St. Austell Bay, just
200 yards from the coastal footpath overlooking Carlyon Bay which
to the East leads to the magnificent promontory of Gribben Head,
while if you head West leads to the historic Port of Charlestown.
It's visitor centre, restaurants, family pub and glorious backdrop
of Tall Ships in the harbour make Charlestown a favoured location
of film and television producers.
|
|
| Contrasting
with the old is the new, the world famous Eden Project, the worlds
largest greenhouse is within walking distance, or 5 minute car
ride away. |
|
|
The topically
picturesque Cornish fishing villages of Mevagissey, polperro
and Looe, not to mention the historic and eclectic town of Fowey,
home of the annual Royal Regatta are all just a short ride away
by bus or car.
